The CHG Tribute Concert
The biggest rat I ever saw in Chicago was with Los. Not long after that, Los became Carlos Hernandez Gomez, a top notch journalist who made a name for himself sniffing out the city’s proverbial rats. Our Big Shoulders slumped this winter with the loss of Carlos, whose style was a throwback to Eliot Ness-era reporting, and whose passion united the city, even if it was in indignation.
