The first of four self-promotional pieces for the studio, all of which will focus on a specific style of design based on our type collection, and all will have offset-printed photos of the formes on the back sides of the pieces (since the process, for us, is every bit as exciting as the final print). This one features our late 19th century/early 20th century type, as well as a copper cut of our own illustration. It is meant to resemble an advertisement for the Titanic’s maiden voyage, only with 100 years of hindsight.
Most will be packaged together with the other pieces when they are completed, though we have a few for sale here.
