The Well-Traveled Ampersand features the iconic form from popular typefaces paired with images that represent the geographic region for which they were designed. The shape of each ampersand is filled with antique metal type and ornaments in patterns as well as illustrations.
The entire portfolio is available here in limited quantities. It includes a dark gray outer sleeve and digitally printed colophon that includes images of all of the type forms for the project.
Choice single prints are also available from the drop down menu. They are printed in dark gray so dark it’s almost black.
PLEASE NOTE: The original Cooper Black individual prints are sold out. A new version that includes the description of the typeface printed in a dark bluish/gray is available on 100% cotton cardstock.
