Magic Hour is the lovely time of day right before sunset and right after sunrise, when the light is soft and radiant. This letterpress print seeks to capture some of that light through the use of copper gold ink that fades to light blue, alongside a subtle darker layer that features hand carved imagery pulled from the smaller, more detailed elements.
The type itself is intricately pieced together entirely from metal type and ornaments to form a new blackletter typeface.
Measures 18x12" and is printed on navy blue cardstock. If framing, please consider using conservation glass so the deep shade of navy doesn't fade.
