The City Is My Religion - Individual Print - Scratch & Dent Prints
PLEASE NOTE: This listing is for the last prints in the edition that might be slightly flawed. There might be a small work up (where something in the type form prints that’s not supposed to print), one of the color layers might be slightly mis-registered or some other minor flaw that prevented it from being part of the final edition. Some might call these things the ‘inherent charm of the process.’
This is the keystone print in my typographic memoir portfolio of the same name. It was created with 6 layers of different colored ornaments to resemble stained glass in a church; the building itself is made up of many tiny buildings and elements that represent important places and elements of my life.
The print measures 17x11” and is on Mohawk Superfine cover weight paper. It comes with a copy of the offset printed ‘blueline’ that explains all of the different elements.
