This is the second print from The City is My Religion, a typographic memoir portfolio project, which focuses on the idea of perseverance. It mixes wood type printed twice in subtle shades of yellow and orange with ‘word ornaments’ in shades of blue. The definitions of persevere come from me, the dictionary, Curtis Mayfield, Sesame Street and everything in between. The word ornaments are some of the oldest in the Starshaped collection.

The print measures 17x11” and is on Mohawk Superfine cover weight paper. It comes with a copy of the offset printed ‘blueline’ that explains all of the different elements.
