This panda was originally printed as a gift for a good friend who also loves pandas. I couldn’t decide which Fabriano Tiziano paper I liked best so the edition is split between a dark charcoal and musty, mossy green. The panda is created with a collection of metal type in two colors. The frame is made from a dotted border and lovely 19th century ‘bamboo’ pieces. The gold frame is very subtle; while more pronounced on the charcoal prints, it’s lighter and catches the light in more interesting ways on the green.
Measures 10×8” and is a very limited edition.
